Hi I'm Jo and Imagine If is my baby, a NZ designed and operated company. I have always had a passion for crafts, and try my hand at anything (except if it involves a needle). I believe that everyone can create and be creative, I think it is great for the soul. The basis of the business is Imagine if.. where the possibilities are endless.
Aly Johnson
Owner and Design Warrior
Hi I'm Aly and I have been a graphic designer for over 6 years and the creation of Imagine If Creative Studios was my dream for a long time! I have always had a passion for graphic design, crafting, illustration, invitations, art and just about anything creative you can think of! I love design and boxing so my nickname is the Design Warrior!
Pauline Lunn
Stock guru and Jo's helper extraordinaire
Hi I'm Pauline and you can find me in the shop Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. I can help you with all your product needs and questions when you visit the shop! I am also nicknamed Queen of Cards as I design and take the card classes for the shop!
Gemma Whitten
Design Ninja
Hi I am Gemma, I am the newest member of the team at Imagine If and I am a graphic designer and printer! I joined in March and can help with all your design and printing needs. I am quick at my job so my nickname is the Design Ninja!
Sammy Johnson
Queen of Buzz and Mums other slave!
Hi I'm Sammy, I am the Imagine If - Empress of Marketing and Queen of Buzz - meaning I am in charge of the social media, accounts, invoicing, sales and general administration of the business. I am Jo's other daughter and Aly's sister!
Cheryl Owsley
Product Guru & Art Journaling Tutor
Hi I am Cheryl, I am the tutor for the Art Journaling class at Imagine If! I get to teach people about lots of the fun products we have in store and because of that I am nicknamed the Product Guru!
About The Shop
Our Brick and Mortar Shop
We are a team of Mum (Jo) & Daughter’s (Aly & Sam) + Pauline. We have a unique Arts and Craft store based in the small town of Morrinsville, in the Waikato. There are a number of aspects to our store that make us different to other craft stores in New Zealand. We not only stock a huge range of products for the many facets in the Art & Paper crafting worlds but we also design and manufacture our own range of Chipboard shapes, Mdf cutouts, and Acrylic shapes using our own Laser Cutting Machine! We also produce a range of unique Quote Sheets, Prints, Cake toppers and Party / Wedding Invitations and Stationery, that are not available in any other store!
We pride ourselves in being a friendly, knowledgeable, creative and fun ladies, who love crafting, designing, creating, getting our hands dirty and generally making a big mess when we work!
Our physical store is located on the main street of Morrinsville (181 Thames Street), it is easy to find – right next to Heathcoteswhich is located on the main round-about! Our staff are knowledgeable and happy to share that knowledge with you and do our very best to ensure you get the correct information to enable you to get great results from all your work!
We have many wonderful project kits available as well as Classes which are held regularly in our classroom in store.

MASS PRODUCTION
We can produce products in bulk for larger orders or for Businesses interested in stocking our Imagine If designed and produced products. Contact us if you would like to make a bulk order or if you are a business talk to us about wholesale prices.
KITS AND TUTORIALS
We offer a range of creative fun, easy to put together Kits – some of the kits have been designed specifically for classes we have done in store and others from classes we have held at previous Senz expo’s. Kits come with everything you need to make the project shown as well as photographed instructions to show you how to do it!
CUSTOM INVITES
Our graphic designer Aly, has over 6 years experience in designing invitations and stationery for your big event! She has a range of template designs to choose from, you can bring in examples of what you like or you can work one on one with her to create your very own unique, interactive or even laser cut designs!
EXPERT IDEAS, HELP & ADVICE
When you come to our store or one of our classes, you are not only buying our products but the specialist knowledge that Jo has from her gazillion years of being in the craft industry. All of the team at Imagine If want you to walk away with the correct and best possible knowledge!
CUSTOM CUTTING
Our in house team can design and produce custom cut MDF, Acrylic, Chipboard, Paper, Cork, Burlap and even Felt designs for all your crafting needs. In order for us to work out a price for you make sure you send us a picture of what you are wanting so we have an idea of the complexity of the design.
CLASSES
We have a large number of classes available with levels ranging from beginner crafter right through to advanced crafting experience and knowledge. We also offer and range of types of classes from card making and scrapbooking, to mixed media and off the page projects… See our newsletter for the latest class lists!
BUDGET FRIENDLY
Like you, we understand crafting is an expensive and addictive hobby! So if you have a budget let us know and we can work to it!

Not only do we have our fabulous online store but we also have a super cute brick and mortar store in our little hometown of Morrinsville, just 25 minutes from Hamilton and 1.5 hours from Auckland!

Aly is our inhouse Graphic Designer and she is able to produce custom chipboard or MDF products, personalised graphics and prints, cake toppers, unique invitations, other weding and birthday stationery, and much more…
